Role Summary

We are hiring a Law Trainee to join our Legal & Compliance team at our Gurgaon Head Office. This role involves contract drafting, legal documentation, regulatory compliance, and cross-departmental coordination. The position offers hands-on exposure to infrastructure, energy, and government-led program legal frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and review agreements, NDAs, service contracts, and work orders

• Support execution and tracking of contracts across procurement, quality, and field operations

• Review tender documents, project guidelines, and policies to identify legal risks

• Maintain a central repository of contracts, approvals, and licenses

• Assist in responses to legal notices, vendor issues, and audit queries

• Monitor compliance with applicable laws: Electricity Act, Companies Act, Labour Laws, GST

• Coordinate with Quality and Site teams to ensure legally compliant documentation of field operations

• Liaise with external legal counsel on ongoing cases or contractual disputes

Candidate Requirements

• LLB / BA LLB from a recognized law school/university

• 0–1 year of experience or relevant internships in infra, corporate, or energy law

• Good command of legal drafting and research

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and document filing tools

• Strong communication in English and Hindi

• Highly organized, analytical, and able to manage confidential information

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to EPC contracts, renewable energy, or infra law

• Understanding of government procurement, GeM portal, and statutory compliance

• Interest in Energy Law, Public Policy, or Rural Infrastructure Law

• Timings: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)

• Location: Gurgaon Head Office (On-site)

• CTC: ₹3.0 LPA – ₹4.2 LPA (₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month)

Interview Process

• Round 1: Face-to-face interview with HR and Legal Team at Gurgaon Office

• Round 2: Final in-person interaction with Senior Leadership (Legal/Operations)
